Job Summary

Postdoctoral Research Associate will work on the development of the method of Diagrammatic Monte Carlo with applications to the Many Electron Problem.

Essential Functions

The research on various aspects of Diagrammatic Monte Carlo: techniques of optimized diagram sampling, code development, advanced techniques of series resummation. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will participate in regular meetings of Simons Collaboration on Many Electron Problem, present research through informal talks and formal seminars, and travel as needed to present research and carry out collaborations with external collaborators.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics by the time of the appointment.

Documented experience with (i) quantum field-theoretical methods (Feynman diagrams) and (ii) advanced numerical simulations.

Monday - Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm

Salary Information

Minimum per the post doc contract for a full-time equivalent salary shall be $47,476.
